[Mu Alpha Theta, the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society is] dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.

-National Mu Alpha Theta

Tennessee Mu Alpha Theta focuses on the Tennessee MAO chapters and promotes a passion for math among the state. Each year, we host a state convention that allows for chapters from across the state to connect, compete, and collaborate with one another as a result of the shared love for math.
